We're the team at Enabled Play; a first-of-its-kind Accessibility technology that incorporates seven separate assistive technologies into a single platform/interface that allows people with disabilities to connect with the communities, companies, and games they love.

We're looking for a US-based Director of Marketing Communications to join our growing team at a really exciting moment in our company history (you'll be employee #8!)

You will collaborate with a team of talented professionals, drive the development and implementation of integrated marketing communication plans, and ensure the delivery of compelling and consistent messages across all channels. Your expertise in strategic thinking, brand management, and creative storytelling will help drive the success of EP's marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that aligns with EP's brand identity, business objectives, and target audience.
Grow, lead and mentor a team of marketing communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing communication campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and maximum impact across all touchpoints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, PR, social media, and sales, to drive cohesive and effective marketing communications initiatives.
Define key messaging and positioning for EP's products, services, and initiatives, ensuring they
resonate with target audiences and reflect the brand's unique value proposition.
Manage and optimize marketing communication budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation
and efficient execution of projects.
Monitor and analyze marketing communications performance metrics to track campaign
effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to the executive team.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant insights into marketing communication strategies and tactics.
Foster strong relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration on marketing communication initiatives.
Uphold and promote EP's brand guidelines and standards across all marketing communications materials and channels.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing communications, brand management, or related roles, preferably in a growth organization or software setting.
Ability to be a player/coach in early days and grow a team commensurate with company growth
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of marketing communication strategies, tactics, and best practices across traditional, digital, and social media channels.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business objectives into effective marketing communication plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
Proficiency in managing budgets, allocating resources, and optimizing marketing communication initiatives for maximum ROI.
Familiarity with the technology industry and a passion for EP's products and services.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with accessible marketing standards/practices a plus
